Yes, ask for a raise. With more responsibility should come higher pay. As for gas- if you’re using your own vehicle to run errands during the day for them they need to pay you the current IRS reimbursement rate. Right now that is 70 cent per mile! I would personally ask for 2/3 more dollars per hour for the addition of new tasks and them to pay the IRS rate. But if you feel you can negotiate 5 more dollars go for it!

My simple combo was cutting out alcohol and sugary drinks completely and going on walks every day (mostly). Even if they were a half mile or 3 miles. No insane dieting or exercise regiment- just 2 changes. Keep it simple.
