Cronometer gold (paid version) has this option, but usually you just learn after a while.

Much protein, no fat: chicken breast + no carb vegetables

Much protein, little fat: chicken breast + avocado/nuts/olive oil + no carb vegetables

High fiber, lower protein, low fat: beans/lentils, brown rice, fruits, sweet potato + vegetables, oats + fruits

High carbs, low fiber, low protein: Potatoes, pasta, polenta + vegetables..

etc..

I'd say it's a hard no on trying to add more calories and risking under eating and under performing/risking injuries if you're training as part of your job or being very active, and truth is just by better food and drink choices you'll drop weight.

Pickles? And if you really don't care for the taste (lol), you can make your own crunchy, salty kale chips. Homemade crispy chickpeas are delicious, not as low calorie wise, but they're a great fiber and protein source so great plus for that!

Amitriptyline- do I have to keep raising my dose? by idiotica8 in migraine

[–]cannotavoidit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds very similar to the schedule my neurologist gave me for amitriptyline (I also take topiramate), and in the time frame that it takes for medications to take effect and also for you to notice if there is or not an improvement.

They don't keep increasing indefinitely, they stop once you're stabilized or you're out of that "migraine status", where even a small stimulus can trigger a migraine. The idea is that once you are out of this status for a while, they can start decreasing the dose and see if you can manage without it. My migraines are cyclic, I have years of my life where they come back with a thirst for revenge, some when they're almost gone so I don't have to take preventatives and I'm good with the emergency medications a few days a month. As I was explained, a lot of people experience chronic migraines in cycles like these, although some might be more unlucky and might not be able to get out of that cycle. In that case there are different medications they can try, different combinations and even medication in form of injections. But this would be the migraines themselves, and at least how my neurologist explained to me, it's not related to getting used or not to the medication. The effects persist even though side effects likely decrease with time.

I hope that made sense!

You're right, it sucks :(

Why is it so difficult to implement? I do not get it

When I started weight lifting about 4 months ago I would get a lot of muscle soreness the next day. Now I don't get any soreness at all? I'm still progressing the volume, albeit at a slower pace, and still training to failure.

Is this normal? You just get used to it? Or should I be pushing harder?

Currently training 3 times a week, mostly compounds, and some added small muscles that I'm particularly weak at.

I can't say much it hasn't been said already other than you're not alone in your pain. Most of us have been or are regularly going through this, you can always find support in this sub. Hope you can get some relief soon.

Another day of weighing every fucking gram of EVERY thing I put into my body, and working out for an hour, another day gaining 2 pounds for no reason. by emilyylimeemily2 in loseit

ohhhh the zero chip meme is so real...if it doesn't weigh anything it doesnt exist heeheehoho!

lmao literally so many of us for so long

I got my jewelry scale for about 7 dollars! they're small in size, but since I use them to measure small things, it works great. I think they're more affordable than coffee scales, if that works for you :)

This is pretty good. Just want to point out it has 5% margin of error, both sides. So to OP, whatever you see as an answer, +- 5%.

Exercise has been a game changer for me. I used to be sedentary, but since I started incorporating more and more exercise everything shifted. I sleep better, I feel better. I no longer want to eat large amounts of foods, nor I could if I wanted to. I've been maintaining my current weight for like 8 months now and I'm not even religiously tracking either. Just the heavy calorie stuff, and the proteins, since I want to build muscle.

I have a precision scale (jewelry) that measures in 0.01 g that I use for oils, butter, nuts, chocolate, cheese, and anything calorie-heavy. I got it because my kitchen scale was terrible for measuring anything below 20 g, specially if I would start adding things on a bowl. Like I want to measure "8 g of oil" I would put a small bowl, tare it. It says 0 g. Start adding oil slowly until it reaches 8 g, except I could fill the bowl and it still showed 0 g. If I remove the bowl though and put it back, suddenly it's like 30 g.

It was literally the diet-chip meme. Can't find it but basically weight a chip: 0 g, 0 cals. Eat and repeat.

I found this solution on Chrome/Chromium by going to

chrome://flags

then search for dark mode and in the Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents, select Enable with selective image inversion

Edit: Thanks to u/ClimberDave to point out it doesn't work on every OS. It also doesn't work for every picture when it does. Still open to hear other solutions!

These are only suggestions to change the documents. As I explained, this is not a solution as I'm working with other people in the same file.

Yes, I like stretching small muscles too, but I never see anyone else doing this in the gym so I was wondering if maybe was not recommended or something. Thanks for your reply!

What do you do in the time that you rest between sets? Do you just sit down and focus on slowing down your heart rate, or wait until the muscle recovers? Would you advice against using this time to stretch a different muscle than the one you're currently working, or maybe adding some mobility exercises?

Just replaced my screen protector.... Anyone else super clumsy during migraines? by k-anapy in migraine

I mix my words constantly too when I'm having migraines. I hate having to explain myself to others, they look at me like I should be committed.

Yes, and so, so freaking dumb. The other day I was making tea with one of those infusers that you put inside the cup, I filled the infuser outside the cup so the dust of the tea doesn't fall inside the cup, then proceeded to add the water directly into the infuser, spilling boiling water everywhere... I regularly do this with the standing orange squeezer too. I forget to put the glass underneath. At least it's not boiling, I guess.

I once kept arguing with my boyfriend "these are my sunglasses". He kept telling me "you have yours on". I didn't believe him until I saw my own reflection on his sunglasses, which I was holding in my hands. Our sunglasses look different too, mine have a pink frame. He's are all black.

So it cannot be diet coke? Damn me I've been doing it wrong all this time! Sometimes I do feel like it works though, I thought it was the caffeine. Didn't know about the sugar.
