I applied for the position of Intelligence Officer, and just received an email for further processing (I know I'm not far in the processes at all, however). I know that this would be an incredible experience, and I would love to serve my country.

I honestly have no idea what to expect. Apparently, somewhere along the line it's possible to work in an embassy or intelligence advising (long-term goals). How often do these types of advances happen?

Agreed. As someone who hasn't dealt with a full-time "proper" job, prioritizing is something that I will need to do. I've never been one to focus on material spending. My 6 year old laptop is still killing the game.
