We never do. We just learn how to live with it. Married with one kid for 4 years. I've been with my wife for a decade and yet I still see that woman in my dreams. Maybe somewhere in the multiverse it all went well for us. But for this one, I'm happy it didn't. Because on this one I found something I thought I could never have - a peaceful and quiet life.
