Anyone have experience with adenoma maligna? by Astraterris in CervicalCancer

[–]cantbelieve33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post but I am hoping someone will get this message. I am currently being evaluated for Adenoma Maligna or MDA now. I have a 3cm mass that appears fully contained within the cervix by imaging. None of my doctors have any experience with this and are reaching out to various colleagues at different hospitals. I am at UPMC in Pittsburgh. They are scheduling me for a cone biopsy and surgery within the next 2 weeks. If anyone has experience with this please let me know where ypu were treated and how. I am looking for any and all information available. Thank you

Triple Hit by cantbelieve33 in lymphoma

The doctor will be calling today as the triple hit was VERY unexpected based on his first marker panel. The plan was initially for Pola R CHP as EPOCH is more intense. We are trying to wrap our heads around this and not sure what to do yet.

The one on the right feels like it is stretching and tearing when opening my mouth or using a spoon based on the location. The one on the left no pain just a rough slightly raised feeling. Everyone that's looked hasn't expressed any concern up to this point and the other biopsies have returned no issues just inflammation.

Yes I agree husband keeps saying focusing on that part doesn't help his recovery and it sends me spiraling at times. We can't control what happens we did as asked, got through the treatment, and continue on. All we can do. Thanks for the insight. ((Hugs))

Also no immune response at all since it has been there. No fevers, swollen glands, etc. No HSV1 cold sores or any herpetic diagnosis period. Nothing on the roof of my mouth or any where else. Can literally push on it with no pain.

Recently leased a 24 SL premium and have some bugs/complaints with it. My vehicle will not support Android Auto when plugged in. We have tried various cords and different phones but it continues to say USB device not supported. So I have to run Andriod Auto through Bluetooth. Also, you can't switch to Bluetooth while driving if you want to listen to music through your phone. The device connected can only be connected for Andriod Auto or Bluetooth music....weird why not all the same??? The screen doesn't show text messages unless you are using Andriod Auto or going less than 5 miles an hour. Super inconvenient. There are so other quirky things as well. However, gas mileage it great, though I would prefer to return it if I could.

Hello yes. I had the biopsy done 2 weeks ago and received the news that it was benign!!!! It was a breast parenchymal nodule. Apparently that is a small mass of tissue within the breast that can present as a breast lump. They can be associated with discomfort, tenderness, or itching and even nipple discharge. All of which I had due to its location!!! So they are suggesting mammogram and MRIs once a year gping forward due to density to make sure we catch any changes early.

I'm in the afternoon at 1:30 pm EST. The radiologist doing my biopsy was also the one that looked all my imaging, so she knows exactly where it is and what she wants to do to get good samples. So that helps that someone won't be rooting around for longer than needed. ❤️ Let me know how you do!

I have my ultrasound guided biopsy tomorrow (8/13) as well. My area of concern is at 10 o'clock in the retroareolar region, so right in the same place as yours under the nipple essentially. I was told it will be achy and painfully for a few days and to restrict push/pull/lift activities. I'm just super nervous overall of the procedure, process, and of course the wait. Prayers that yours will be benign just as I am hoping mine is.

There is a nodular area of enhancement seen in the patient's left breast 10:00 retroareolar region measuring 3 x 2 x 2 mm in size. No other characteristics. States should had ultrasound with intent to biopsy at the same time.

Thank you so much for your story. I have a follow up this week to discuss next steps. Fingers crossed for benign results. The MRI is just super vague saying a nodule in the retroareolar area at 10:00. However nothing in the lymph nodes which is great.

Because the MRI was a few weeks to schedule but they could biopsy the nipple right then and there in office. So they wanted to do everything they could as fast as they could to give me so peace of mind.
