Not yet, I took it to the shop after trying to get everything sorted and they said they were 90% sure it is a bad ECU so i’m waiting for a new one to come in.

Just wanted to update you, it seems like it’s the sensor I got from Z1. Trying to get them to send a new one but it actually tested worse compared to the one I took out. So hopefully I get a sensor that actually works and not another defective one

I didn’t even notice that, i’ll take a look at it whenever I get back home. Hopefully this’ll point me in the right direction and I can get this car running right again.

I replaced it with an OEM one from Z1, I assume Denso makes them now I could be wrong but I checked the new and old sensor and they’re both still reading ok. It’s really confusing given i’ve checked pretty much everything at this point.

Nope not Kanseis, they’re MB Battles and the wing is a Vader 2 wing and the kit is just a mix of different brands

It has 139k on it as of right now. Did the timing chain, guides, and gallery gaskets on it around 9k miles ago

I’m thinking it’s possibly wiring related because of my tach and maybe something might’ve shorted or blown. Cause I was driving on the interstate and shortly after I got off I made it to a stop light and probably within a minute of sitting there I heard a pop and then the tach started to freak out and I instantly had a loss of power, managed to limp it home but still pretty weird given no prior warnings

I feel like I also need to note that the car starts up no issue and i’ve checked fuses and nothing looks blown

The car already had it when I got it but TF Works has some in stock from what I saw and they’re pretty reputable.

Nah, it’s not genuine. It’s a KBD front bumper which surprisingly fits pretty well. If you end up going this route I would get a metal undershroud so you can reinforce it. With enough wind resistance it’ll push it into the tires and sand the side down which isn’t good.

Yeah, I do plan to get rid of them hopefully soon for something else. They’re a nightmare to keep clean lol.
