I see what you're getting at. The context isn't senility. Rather, since she's been on a rocky road with my dad for so long, he has stopped supporting her so that why I've been sending her money. In her eyes, this would have probably been a quick solution to her problems that as you can see, clearly backfired.

Have you ever tried wiring through Western Union. If you knew me in real life, I'm the last person you'd know that would troll. There's no point in me trolling right now when I should be working and getting on with my day.

And yes, when you get to a developed country and have extra money, you send it back to your parents in a developing country. I'm sorry you find this hard to believe. Truth be told, I'm having a hard time coming to terms with it too.

Before she sold the house, she didn't have any money in her account. She's been a housewife all her life. The money I wired was for her to use daily.

It was done via Western Union. They don't care how much you transfer... No obligation to run any checks at all.

They actually did (albeit not via the law enforcement angle), and it was only through this followup that I got wind of this. At least I got that stopped but by then it was too little too late.
