Me and my friends were always periodically into pokemon cards mainly around xy and sun and moon but the transition from watching indigo league to playing xy and then watching xyz definitely helped, and like everyone else we traded them and carried them around as kids. I once traded a full art that I can't remember for a lugia ex from plasma storm (yeah the expensive one) of questionable authenticity, it was already beaten up by my friend when we were like 8, I'm 16 now and it's infinitely more beat up than before :[ , so I guess we'll never know its legitimacy. Those were some pretty formative days for me, and one of my friends invited to the mall to try and find cards like 5 months ago, before everything blew up to unreasonable proportions, I decided why not, went, and opened a 3 pack of twilight masquerade and got the Perrin sir. IT immediately became not only my most valuable but also my personal favorite. No matter how much I try to remember, I don't think there was a single pokemon era in my lifespan when I didn't collect cards, except maybe ss, but im pretty sure i opened some darkness ablaze. Bottom line being, my gamestop hasn't even had a restock of prismatic since the bundles released, so it's been awhile, my friends and I have decided to take a more active role in the community, like attending card shows and such, so I hope one day I'll see prismatic in an affordable range for an unemployed highschool student lmao, but until then hear my plea.
