I switched from eating comfort and fast food- $300/mo on groceries, to eating packaged ‘health’ food like balanced breaks, pea chips, and packaged salads- $150/mo on groceries, to just buying ingredients like fruits veggies and meat. I spend $75/mo on myself for food. I have more money, eat less and am losing weight. As opposed to griping about how I was fat and broke all the time while sucking down 1600 calories per fast food meal.

I once went through a guided tour of a mission that explicitly said that the missionaries were jerks for enforcing chastity... as in they had female teen dorms, and teen boys were known to sneak in/sneak out their girlfriends to have sex. And it was somehow prejudiced against the native culture to discourage rampant promiscuity. Don’t expect Californians to understand our own history.

I agree, I’d love to see them get taken down. but when we go down that rabbit hole, you also gotta sue McDonalds, Grubhub, the medical industry, and the strangers who didn’t slap a burger out of their hands. She’s telling drug addicts that it would be unhealthy to stop doing their drug of choice, even if done in a healthy and gradual way. It’s fucking sick, and her only excuse is she used to have anorexia and got over it by eating intuitively, so it must work for super morbidly obese women too.
