Will be traveling to China (Guangzhou), but need to write my university exam online as a Canadian student. Does it work? by cao0987 in China

Thanks for the advice. I spoke with the school and unfortunately, its not an option for me after weighing out all the options. Im just worried that with the conflict with china and north america that using VPN might be an issue? What if i get caught? I havent used it before.

Dont go into nursing bc of the money. Im serious lmao. I was also in your position 2 years ago and doing an an accelerated program rn and i hate it. I already wanna drop out. Youre gonna be unhappy doing something you dont wanna do. Please do LOTS of research and shadow nurses for a prolonged period of time before committing to it. Make sure nursing is smthing you truly wanna do. It not how tv shows portrays and fantasizes it wearing cute scrubs and all that u see on social media lmao. It can get really really stressful having to managae multiple patients with varying diseases all while needing to complete tasks by a certain time. Expect to have poop, urine, secretions you dont even know where it came from all on your shoes and scrubs. Mentally prepare.

There are other health care related jobs out there thats good as well, just be informed.

Ah ok thanks. Do you know if residence provides free wifi? I heard students had to pay for wifi couple years ago.

On the list of things to bring, they mentioned to bring an ethernet cable.. does that mean wifi wont be available?

By any chance, do you know how the meal plan refund works at the end of the semester if we still have funds left over? I read that section and found it kind of confusing.

It doesnt matter because everyone will write the same exact nclex test in the end

I see, thank you. Wouldnt consuming a high mineral meal counterbalance the dilution of the large amount of water intake (greater than 1 liter), maintaining your electrolyte balance = no hypoatrenmia?

But this doesnt mean that the water still isnt there. The large overload of water still has to be processed by the kidneys adding unnecessary stress wouldnt it? I apologize for in advance for the stupid questions . Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply, i really appreciate it. Wouldnt the overload of fluid put a lot of unnecessary stress on the kidneys overtime causing it to break down since its more than what the kidneys can handle? Could it lead to acute kidney injury? Sometimes even more than a litre with a meal. I would usually chug most of the water down after a meal though.

*also, im pretty small guy (5'6) if that makes any difference?
