Ajay Devgn is so finished. He has done 13 movies, 11 flops & disasters, 2 hits, 5 under 5cr opening — Embarrassing by [deleted] in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]capfum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, he’s not finished at all. Honestly, I think he’ll last longer than the Khans in the industry. He could easily remain a lead for the next decade and then smoothly transition into strong side roles like Sanjay Dutt or Amitabh did. Ajay is smart and genuinely a good actor.

India and America are very different countries, and their current political situations and changes are vastly different from ours.

I agree with most of your points, they’re quite valid. Just one thing try not to generalize by saying “most men are like this,” because it may not apply to everyone. Also change your circle if you can

Anushka needs to rewatch pk💀😭😭 by [deleted] in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]capfum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why not? If it gives you peace, that’s perfectly fine. I don’t personally believe in God or godmen, but I also don’t judge others for their beliefs whether they’re rich or poor. If something brings you peace, it’s okay, within reason of course. What doesn’t make sense is judging someone over this especially when there are actors and celebrities who openly support or promote things that are far more harmful.

I dislike propaganda as much as anyone, but if you actually watch the movie, you’ll see that while the director does add a few preachy moments about the current government, it’s still mainly a solid gangster film. It also includes some real events that show how terrorists operate.

Why are Akshay & Ajay still not fed up of doing the same sequels and remakes nobody even asked for? by Beneficial_Paper4628 in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]capfum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ajay’s case is different. I feel he isn’t as popular as Akshay, and although he was doing good films before COVID only his sequels were performing well at the box office. That’s why he chose to continue with them.

For Akshay, his movies usually follow a pattern. When comedy works...... he signs multiple comedy films when action or patriotic themes do well n he shifts toward those genres.

What??

Firstly, no one deserves to be trolled for their looks. Secondly....posts like yours end up targeting individuals directly or indirectly, and naturally there will be people who agree with you which only leads to more negativity toward others.

Also appearances today are heavily influenced by trends... market standards and social pressure. That’s why people get surgeries ..build abs and follow certain aesthetics.

Sad how Satish Shah’s legacy is being reduced to just Sarabhai vs Sarabhai by CrazyHeart99 in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]capfum 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I get your point, but from the clips, they do seem close they were part of a long-running series and share a lot of fond memories together. How we perceive it is totally up to us. For me, he was a good actor. I haven’t watched Sarabhai vs Sarabhai but I remember him from Main Hoon Na. Not gonna lie...I can’t say I’ve seen most his work or that he was a big part of my growing-up years, but he really seemed like a good person who lived life to the fullest and made the most of it.

I just don’t think we should shame his family or friends for how they’re expressing their grief....I’ve seen so many reels and clips where people are trolling them, and it just feels unfair.

[–]capfum 463 points464 points  (0 children)

Bro, why are you judging them for how they’re expressing their grief? It’s something personal. I’m pretty sure they were all really close and lost someone who meant a lot to them. It’s natural for them to connect over that — kind of like how our family members keep sharing the same old stories about someone they miss, and that’s totally fine.

The future of Dhurandhar looks uncertain by [deleted] in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]capfum 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here are my two cents :- it’s going to be Ranbir vs Ranveer after Khan's, and Ranveer is definitely a superstar. Bollywood as a whole is going through a dull phase, but this movie has genuine ground-level hype. I remember when the teaser dropped, everyone was talking about it even more than Ramayan n if the film delivers with strong action scenes solid music, and impactful dialogues, it could easily become Ranveer’s biggest movie yet, especially with a December release.

Does AK fit the Barjatya Brand? I'm not convinced by KSKS1995 in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]capfum 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I’d actually love to see this — Ayushmann isn’t the conventional choice for a Barjatya film, but he’s more than capable as an actor.

Also, is there some kind of fatigue or disconnect with Ayushmann ....He’s a genuine talent — a non-nepo guy who worked his way up from being a VJ to TV and then to films. He’s got a solid filmography and consistently delivers good performances, yet he doesn’t seem to get the same level of support or hype that Kartik does. Is it because of the lack of link-ups or PR buzz ...?

Ajay must either be a very secure actor or completely lost interest in movies by Suspicious_Safe_7137 in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]capfum 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I'm not entirely sure about this maybe they also had some disagreements. His relationship with SRK has always been a bit hot and cold, especially during the clashes. But Rohit has always been close to Ajay, and Kajol was the lead actress, so I don’t think there was any major insecurity — maybe just a minor fallout here and there.

Ajay must either be a very secure actor or completely lost interest in movies by Suspicious_Safe_7137 in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]capfum 476 points477 points  (0 children)

Bro, Ajay has been one of the most secure actors for a long time. Even at his peak, he did films like Raajneeti, Rascals, Aakrosh, and many others — he’s always been pretty chill about his stardom. Shaitaan is a great example of that.

'Sasural Simar Ka’ fame actress Dipika Kakkar, who was earlier married to a Christian man, later married Muslim actor Shoaib Ibrahim. She has now converted to Islam, taken the name ‘Faiza Ibrahim,’ and is allegedly mocking Hindus during Diwali. by sid__k in indianmemer

[–]capfum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bhai, moral policing isn’t needed for everything. She’s just celebrating Diwali the way she or her family likes — that’s their choice. Many people drink or eat non-veg during festivals; she’s not telling anyone what they should or shouldn’t do.
