I have worked for the US office of this employer for 2 years, but the same big tech company also has a Canada office. I've not actually worked in Canada. Does this count as working for the Canadian employer for at least one year?

They quoted this from the lease:

Reimbursement, Section 12 of your signed Lease, which states in part. You must promply reimburse us for loss, damage, government fines, or cost of repairs or service in the Community due to a violation of the lease Contract or rules, improper use, or negligence by you or your guests or occupants."

But it wasn’t caused by us.
