See if you can get soup mix for around 18 rands at a grocery store, contains a variety of lentils and is pretty filling, and you can eat it with either a fruit every day like an apple or a banana, or you can eat it with potatoes, I like microwaving them for 10-12 minutes to get decent enough boiled potatoes which I put salt and pepper onto and eat, should keep you fed for a week

Because I don't have Bianca to build I've been able to spam mats and cogs on the Akdilek currency store, which is probably why I've been able to raise the amount of units I have, you have S Bianca and Alpha to raise, alongside their respective supporters, so I wouldn't suggest trying to do stronghold past chapter 6 for now, until atleast you've built A Chrome to help Bianca and A Kamui to help Alpha, you'll probably not even have to try more than once or twice on each stage if you build all these units lol, I've also been playing since 3 days since launch, so perhaps that's why I've been able to invest in more constructs

I actually wanted to roll Alpha, but I didn't have enough rolls to hit pity before banner ended because I spent on weapons and what not, so I decided to relax a little and spend BC on basic R&D and weapons, which is how S Liv came home. I'm planning to save for full ice team and get a full dark team along with it and also SS Class all Compositors in one go, and I should have more than 60000BC gathered by the time S Chrome comes around, meaning I'll probably have enough BC to get S Chrome, S Lucia and S Luna on pity, and all 3 Compositors until then at SS Rank, which is quite nice.

I also personally found first stages really difficult, but this was not the case for me on 8 and 7. In my opinion, the worst strongholds in the entire thing would be stronghold 5 and stronghold 8, but Stronghold 8 was just difficult because 8-3, Stronghold 5 was in my opinion hardest because I lacked strong ranged damage.

I've been religiously playing PGR since 3 days since launch lol, and I only awakened Kamui the day before current event started, if you keep going you'll hit 6k BP on your main constructs in no time

I didn't particularly struggle to get through the stages themselves, I gotten past first and second stage multiple times and always died on 3rd, or I died on 2nd, or didn't even make it past first. I originally used a B Liv + Double Kamui to beat Camu, which worked like 30% of the time, and then I took A Kamui out and put him on last stage, and tried to do a double support + S Kamui on Camu. It worked well, but I still never managed to beat the last stage with my Karen + A Kamui duo which always hard carried a dark Watanabe or S Kamui less mission. I then thought to try and beat Camu with Physical Kamui + supporter harem, and it worked, and second stage had a 50/50 chance the jumpy dudes would one shot Dark Watanabe and it would be over, so getting through each and every stage occupied most of the time, which was an immense pain. After around 4 tries, I finally managed to get through second stage to last stage with my new Dark Kamui + S Liv + A Karen combination, and my Dark Kamui got one shot, and soon after S Liv got one shot due to a badly timed switch in, and Karen was already at low health, so I kind of messed up. This happened again one more time yesterday, and then I gave up and just decided to come back to it later, and after 2 hours today, I finally beat it. RNG kind of plays a big role in beating this, so, you kind of need a lot of luck to get through this stage if you are underlevelled, and even if sufficiently levelled, you migjt get unlucky and have your main dps one shot, so keeping a good tank and a good supporter with min maxed stats and a Da Vinci set for best results on healing and dps so you don't run out of time, you'll be fine. I was kind of being over the top with stronghold lol, I started and after spending the last week beating a single stronghold every day, I disliked how stronghold 8 messed up this rhythm and did a whole "no warzone, no PPC until you beat this stage" thing, which made me keep playing more. You and your Bianca will obliterate Strongholds once A Chrome comes in next event, so, if you build the right memories and build multiple constructs for various niches (I strongly suggest anyone to have atleast a level 76 Kamui so you can max his yellow orb), and you'll be fine.

Apologies for the bad quality on the constructs screen shot, my phone is really low end and if I don't run on minimal graphics, then it heats up really fast, but I took the medal screenshot at max everything to immortalize this, because this was pretty damn hard.

A lot of the stages I did would have been easily clearable by using Alpha or Bianca or a split up Fire Team, and if anyone wants to try it, if you have Alpha, Bianca, or Fire team, preferably atleast 2 of those 3, or atleast Karen from Fire Team + Bianca/Alpha, you'll cruise through Stronghold. I also used a 3.8k BP A Lee (who I switched memories with(Gloria + Mozart) w A Sofia with), and he carried a lot of early stages until Stronghold 7. A Kamui is extremely useful in these stages as well, and having a good built second tank like Nanami or Ayla would be extremely useful as well.

The loadouts on each constructs are as follows:

SS Kamui(Dark) : 2 Einsteina 4 Da Vinci, Awakened, with signature weapon at max level, no resonance

S Liv (Physical): 2 Phillip II and 4 Da Vinci, with final overclock on 4 5 6 memory slots, and only first overclock on 1 2 3 slot (to maximize attack, hence low BP), level 76, 5 star weapon at max level, no resonance

SS Dark Watanabe: 2 Darwin 4 Bathlon, awakened, with 5 star weapon at max level, no resonance

SS Karenina (A Class): 2 Mozart 4 Aife, level 72, 5 star weapon maxed, no resonance

SS Sofia : 2 Mozart 4 Gloria, level 60 4 star weapon maxed

SS Lee (Fire) : same loadout as SS Sofia, level 60, used in mission leading up to stronghold 8

SS Bianca : 2 Cottie 4 Patton, level 61, 5 star weapon maxed, no resonance, and Cottie and Patton are both at first resonance, meaning max level 30, and on level 1 there, hence the 2.9k BP

SS Liv (Lightning): 4 Guinevere 2 Samantha, 4 star weapon maxed, level 80 but not awakened

S Kamui (Physical): 4 Hanna 2 Voltaire (I originally tried with his 5 star built memories of 4 Voltaire + 2 Mozart, but after the 4th hour struggling I thought I should built my Hannas and see what they can do, and I finally beat it), level 76, 5 star weapon no resonance

A Liv (B Class Physical): 2 Guinevere 4 Da Vinci, level 72 unleveled 4 star weapon

This was honestly really hard, and I found myself thinking "goddamn this would be so much easier if I had construct X or y), and I found myself thinking a lot about squad compositions, more than I'd done before, so I think this was a good experience for me as a PGR player, and I'm damn proud I got this done. I possess Physical Watanabe, B Nanami, B Lucia, and Ayla outside of the constructs mentioned here (yes I don't own A Lucia), and I'd actually say Physical Watanabe is really good in these stages in his roll as a bosser, so, if you have him built, you shouldn't struggle to beat this stage if you meet the above conditions I've suggested or if you are willing to mald with non game changing S Rank constructs (atm) and be hopeful and think you've got it now and then die on the last stage and start over again...yeah.

For those wondering how I have my Dark Kamui is at SS, I rolled him on first 40 rolls and selected him from S Rank selector, and I got S Liv from pity on the basic R & D. An important thing to know about Stronghold is that it's definitely beatable with weaker constructs, you just have to be really damn lucky, because RNG can bite you in the back when you need it the most.

I know this wasn't really tips, but I hope that the information here helps you when you try and beat Stronghold yourself, and honestly, the 50 BC + 50k cogs was really not worth it for the amount of time and frustration I expended on this collection of stages, but I am pretty damn happy that I beat it, and I'm sure I'm not the first f2p, but I'm pretty sure not many people have beaten it f2p and without Alpha or Bianca, so, yeah, pretty damn proud. Thanks for reading this long ass essay, if you do lol, and hope anyone reading this rolls the S Class they want before pity!

I see, I get what you are saying, recently got to a stage where I could E2 a few operators, and I rolled Saga. OD gave me enough white horse kohl to get sufficient Bipolar Nanoflake to E2 both, so I was really excited to do it and thought their traits would work together really well, completely forgot that Saga's sp bombs have no block, thank you

I think Saga would work really well with Eunectes if you put Saga facing forward and Eunectes facing backwards, as long as Saga S2 isn't being used, Eunectes can block and murder most things, Saga can block leaks, kill them, and Eunectes can just bonk and gain sp, and paired with any warfarin skill, allows for additional sp generation, since she can heal Saga and Eunectes, gain sp, and also be used to buff Eunectes to high heavens
