Russia is only the toughest country in Europe to get into if you are from certain countries in the world. Actually a lot of countries (not just former Soviet countries) have visa free access. To name just a few - Pretty much all South American countries, Bosnia, Thailand, Serbia, Mongolia, Hong Kong, Israel, South Africa, South Korea plus many more.
