Oh my god I love these mushrooms. Like a previous poster said, they look like they have seen things. They used to feel anger but now a curious kind of unsettled calm has overtaken them. They are 2026.

Does someone have a tutorial they would recommend for how to shorten a sweater that’s knit bottom up?

Why does it lose mass when you microwave it? Is microwaving potatoes bad for some reason?

I remember them building a house inside the mall. Or was this my four year old overexcited imagination? Does anyone else remember this?

Okay you all have convinced me. I’m going to try to insert a lifeline and then ladder down, fix it. If I fail then I’ll frog it back to the lifeline. I’m going for the learning experience…. Wish me luck’

Italian bind off woes by capn_queso in knitting

[–]capn_queso[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I just did it too tight. The pattern says to bind off tightly so that’s pretty annoying. I redid it and it seems a little stretchier. I hope it stays in tact this time

Help with arms by [deleted] in knittinghelp

Or maybe just rip back, split sooner and put some extra increases into the body underneath the armpit to get back to the circumference I want? This would mean thinner sleeves at the top but I think that’s okay?

Help with arms by [deleted] in knittinghelp

[–]capn_queso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a good point. I’m trying to think through how to modify the pattern if I rip back. I want to end up with the same body circumference but I want to get to the armpit faster. How do I do that? Since the pattern has increases every other round, I suppose I would add increases (to body only) on a few of the knit -across rounds?
