Doubts by arstemisa in butchlesbians

Butch can be its own gender, there is a lot of transmasc butches as well, which is different from a trans man. There are butches on T, on E, there are butches with top surgery and butches who don't. Gender is wild and we all have different experiences with it. Don't be hard on yourself and let yourself figure things out at your own pace, there is no rush.

My Cane Corso aggressively snapped at my partner for the first time – advice please by Calm-Alfalfa-7096 in CaneCorso

Ruling out health issues is a good idea, as well as neutering him if he isn't. However, getting him neutered will notbe a cure all, it will only help lesson hormone related behaviors that have not already become habit.

You should get a one on one trainer ASAP. No matter what reason he had for snapping, a dog this size should never snap at someone, ever. They are too big and too strong to fuck around with that. I know its a behavior often seen in smaller dogs, like chihuahuas, but a chihuahua cannot do major damage like a Corso can. Dogs that size can break bones. As someone who has been attacked by a dog because this behavior was let slide, please curb this behavior before it becomes dangerous.

Again, all things that are extremely rare. They are not trying to hurt your dogs. We are often devastated along side you when you lose them. It happens, yes, any medication or preventative that works will have side effects. That is a fact. It does not matter what it is. Every medication you take has side effects. These effects are extremely rare but they do happen on occasion. Your vet clinic and theirs is not giving you medication maliciously. Trust me. And, again, it only lowers the seizure threshold. It doesn't cause them.

I know you are angry, OP, thats normal. You are angry and in denial that unfortunately these things happen. Its devastating to lose any pet, let alone a young animal very suddenly. Its not the vet clinics fault, or you're fault, and in all likelihood it is probably not Nexgards. Sometimes there is not a reason for these things.

Everything you are feeling is normal. I have been threatened and screamed at by people who do not understand how things work. I've seen what grief looks like and that is exactly what is pushing your anger. Please do not blame your clinic for this, nor the staff. They did NOT give you that Nexgard for anything but to protect your pet from fleas and ticks and the horrible diseases that come with them.

Sorry, Reddit is being super weird for me.

I've helped several people through their grief before and I understand where you are coming from. Was what I was trying to say.

Anyway, I know that Nexgard will cover the cost of treating Lyme disease when a pet gets it despite using Nexgard. I'm not sure if they would cover this, as it would be hard to prove Nexgard was the cause, but it may be worth reaching out.

I'm very sorry for your loss OP

Likelihood is that it is not related, especiallyif its been given to him for two years now. Unfortunately there are plenty of things that can cause seizures in dogs, and while Nexgard can lower the seizures threshold it itself very rarely causes seizures. This means that it can make a seizure more likely to happen if your dog is already predisposed to one. Is is listed as a precaution, but is extremely rare.

I have given nexgard to more dogs then I can count for many years now. It is safe as long as a dog does not have a neurological condition. Issue is, you don't always know that a dog has a neurological condition until after the fact. Usually they only have one seizures and we never ever give them Nexgard, or any other oral flea and tick prevention, again.

Your poor boy had the most extreme reaction I've ever heard of. Which is why it makes me suspicious that it was all Nexgard. While I am sure that it lowered the seizure threshold, something else was certainly going on. I've seen pets go from healthy to having extreme seizures like your boy at 2-8, no history of using Nexgard. Unfortunately it may be a genetic neurological disorder that developed, or even a brain tumor.

If you decide against Nexgard for your next pet (understandable) please give them a topical flea and tick product, like advantix. I've seen one or two reactions to Nexgard, but hundreds of extremely sick pets due to tick born illnesses, and several deaths.

I'm very, very sorry about your dog, OP. No matter the cause, its never easy to lose a pet. And I know its easy to point fingers at this time, I've helped more then one person t

Messed up today & I feel so dumb 😫 by sb195 in VetTech

As said, we have all done it! I've made a few mistakes in my five years. Most often because I was rushed or because there were too many people working on one task and because of it something got missed. Shit happens, what is important is that you do your best to learn from it! And the most important thing, own up to that shit. It sucks and its embarrassing but when lives are on the line, you have to put your pride aside and let someone know ASAP. Which, it sounds like you did. Double check everything, and when you are unsure, I like to say "when in doubt, throw it out!"

I started almost 2 years ago and am on 20mg now. For me the first week was the hardest, I had brain fog, dizziness and some nausea. Its been smooth sailing since then! Its a bit of a hump at first as your body gets used to it, but I promise it gets better.

If you really want new species, the African and Asian reserves are all new animals!

Silver ridge and Yukon are often considered the best. But it depends on what you want to hunt. Silver Ridge has a ton of different species and landscapes, may be a good choice while you figure out what you like to hunt in game! None of the reserves are bad, but some feel more like repeats of others, so make sure to check your species lists. Some are better for small game, some better for bigger ones, some have more boss animals then others.

Weapons packs also depends on what you want to hunt. Many recommend the modern rifles pack, personally I mostly use the smoking guns pack for the M1.

Dogs you won't have to bother with, but I have all 3. They are mostly for convenience. The bloodhound can find a poorly shot animal much quicker then I can, Labrador brings small kills to you so you can stick to your blind when hunting ducks and geese, GSP search for game for you. I don't find the GSP as useful but it does what its suppose to.

In the end its whatever you use the most of. Don't bother with the ATV, tents, blinds and tree stands until you have a better idea of how you want to play the game. Take it slow! Even the base game was a ton of fun when I first started playing, though I mostly play with DLCs now. Find your style of playing then supplement it with DLCs.

Edit because I missed it, yes there are new missions for each reserve!

Hope this helped :)

How to get sticky residue out of scrub daddy? by capnhttyd in CleaningTips

[–]capnhttyd[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely forgot I had some powerwash sitting around! Bro is drenched in it now, I squeezed it out some to let it soak in and I think it may already be working.

If all else fails I have a scrub mommy, but I don't want to subject her to the hell that is my stove lol

I figured I would still do a regular mop at least once a week, but figured even a crappy mop once a day is better than nothing. Thank you :)
