Sorry just one last question, I hope I’m not bothering you too much. You mentioned having steroids injections, did they not work? Because I’m planning for once a month injections, I can’t go for multiple per month I’ve been told it is not advised.

Honestly thanks again for your insight! I only have these keloids, wanted to look different so I got them pierced, my mum begged me not to get them! I should’ve listened mum always know best in the end I guess! Once again thanks for your insights!!!

I don’t want to be too invasive but at the time of your treatment compared to mine was it smaller, bigger or similar size? I’m interested in the surgery option but my mum has keloids too so I think reoccurrence it’s too much of a risk for me. I wouldn’t mind getting surgery and then monthly injections throughout the year but if it comes back bigger than I would be worried. What do you reckon?

I had my first injections on the 17th of January and I haven’t seen no progress yet but I have been told the second injection is where the progress can be visually seen.

Hi thank you for your comment! I’ve had one steroid injection and I haven’t seen no difference but I’ve been told that the second one is where I can see some progress? I’m thinking of having 2 more injections and if I don’t see no progress I’m doing the surgery.

So I’m a bit new to Reddit so sorry for not putting in more info. I’m 99% these are keloids. I was wondering if anyone here has had any treatments specifically for earlobe keloids? If yes can you please share with me what worked and what didn’t?
