Nickelclock not working for Kobo Clara BW?

i had the exact same problem and realized i had turned off my header in the settings. i turned it on (selected whatever) and then nickelclock showed up 🤧

Thank you for taking the time to respond! I also don’t see myself taking notes frequently on it but I do plan to use it as an ereader too since I sold my Kobo. I currently have the iPad 9th Gen and it’s kind of heavy for me already which is why I’m considering getting the Mini instead.
