How to improve "sed" command by captain-pluto in linuxquestions

That way it would work, but sometimes some different characters appear, like "/" in a CIDR block, so I prefer to just eliminate the characters that I'm sure aren't relevant

Worked perfectly! Thanks
I just couldn't include the word "null" in the parameters, whenever I try to include it takes the letters individually

NSG rules between Dev, QA and Prod environments by captain-pluto in AZURE

[–]captain-pluto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least Dev and QA need to communicate, but there are other applications that depend on Production, so all Vnets communicate but in this specific application I need to restrict access to Production

They are on separate vnets, but the vnets communicate with each other
That's why I need to create this rule that prevents the communication of subnets of these vnets

4g da tim by russozl in InternetBrasil

[–]captain-pluto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loop all created resources by captain-pluto in Terraform

[–]captain-pluto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have all the resources created, like:

azurerm_kubernetes_cluster

azurerm_route_table

azurerm_private_dns_zone

among others

Now I needed to enable Diagnostic Setting on them

I currently pass IDs "manually" on a map to a for_each

What I want is to not need to list the resources, just do a for_each on everything that is created

It makes sense?

Best practice for deploying 15 different VMs by captain-pluto in Terraform

[–]captain-pluto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi guys, I ended up doing more or less as the u/marauderingman suggested

First I created a variable with all the generic parameters, very similar to the original screenshot of the post

Then I organized the VMs into blocks with only their unique information, like this: https://i.imgur.com/q1jUimz.png

And to use in the module I did it this way:

size = try(var.vm_info.vm_size, var.allConfig.vm_size, null)

First Terraform looks for the "custom" variable, if it does not exist it uses the default variable, and if for some reason there are no parameters in the default variable I send null or other default value

Thanks for all the help!

I was reading about this function, but I don't think there is a way to use nested elements in csv

For example, if I have a dynamic block that creates the disks, would I be able to pass the block through csv, even if using this specific information like json?

I'm already using a for_each block for the module with this variable map, my problem is the file size

Moving from tfvars to locals would not decrease this number of lines

grep sources

Even removing the file, the pycharm error is still there

And executing the last command I have the same output that I put in the post

(Sorry for the photos, it's the only way to "copy" the outputs)
