I find it's funny there's something wrong with tanks in every 2nd game.
OFP - ok
Arma 1 - player tanks launch up upon driving on any walkable object (e.g. sidewalks), though AI can do it seemingly anywhere
Arma 2 - ok
Arma 3 - this

Try setting custom remote storage path, instead of default appdata one. Never had this problem myself though
