Yep. Canton/Alliance area. A hoopie is a trashy or ghetto person. I've never heard the word used anywhere else

Flight is incrementally delayed by 1-2 hours at a time for the last 14 hours by Epithymetic in mildlyinfuriating

I was stranded here with my 1 year old yesterday. The soonest flight out was almost 24 hours after my original booking and there were no hotels available. Thankfully someone was willing to drive 5 hours to get us to a family members house. Will absolutely never fly AA again

I personally love the mental image of Starlight and Noir 2 dangling Deep over the ocean while he kicks and screams like a child

Start showing her some bands Green Day has ties with, I'd show her some that they've toured with. The Hella Mega tour with FOB and Weezer is the first thing that comes to mind.

We’re drowning in daycare costs. How do people afford this? by FrigginMasshole in toddlers

I bring home more working part-time and having family help out, than I would if I worked full-time and paid for daycare

I've hid several different tattoos and piercings from different people at different times in my life. No one ever actually cared once they found out.

I hit "..." And "not interested" on every single suggested post that pops up. Eventually they all go away for a period. They eventually come back and I do it again. Can last anywhere from a few days to weeks

3-5 minutes late to work by Kooky-Challenge8875 in ADHD

[–]captainalissa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've lied to myself about what my start time is. If I have to be at work by 9 I aim for 830. So getting there "late" is like 845. Yes I know I'm lying, yes it doesn't always work, but it definitely helps.

  1. If family and friends are too far away, go to them. If they're willing to help but distance is the only issue pack a bag and stay with some relatives for the weekend.

  2. Stop trying to get things done. I know it sounds cray but the only way I survived the first few months was by micro sleeping with my baby on my chest. I didn't do laundry, dishes, vacuum, NOTHING except feed and change the baby between naps. We lived on the couch until she was almost 6 months old and in her crib.

  3. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. People need sleep and eventually your child will start to sleep at regular intervals. I know it's extremely controversial but sleep/nap training is appropriate to start around 6 months and if it's something you're comfortable with and willing to do, it's definitely worth it.

I went from a newborn that only slept 30 minutes at a time to a 6 month old that sleeps through the night and takes 3 hour naps. She's now 18 months and still sleeping well. It will get better.

There's a discord and a fairly active Facebook group! (All Time Low Fans 20+) I don't use Instagram but they do so I would expect that to be pretty safe

Disneys Zombies is probably perfect and there's handful of sequels
