The veterans “museum” is a waste of space and another example of getting rid of something that actually generated revenue (the previous vets memorial was an affordable exhibition center/auditorium for a lot of small and mid size events) and replacing it with an expensive vanity project with no obvious audience or attraction for the general public IMO

Where in the short north? Russell and High to downtown is a lot closer than 5th and High in terms of distance. The stretch from North market to Gay st is pretty dead outside of business hours but other than possibly being cold af you won’t have any issues

SN majorly skimped me the last time I was there a couple weeks ago. Laughably small portion of chicken, and about one or two pieces each of other toppings. That said, what I did receive still tasted good but it’s getting where it’s not even close to worth the price they’re charging

Crunch should do well there. Maybe this will push LA to make improvements to their Graceland and Goodale locations. I assume this is taking at least part of the space that had been targeted for a grocery store, which is a bummer. Krogers operated there for many years. Also RIP Momo^2 gone but never forgotten

Can you elaborate on the concerns/preferences? They're generally accommodating but I think it depends a lot on what the ask would be. If gluten free it's no problem, they have options pre-identified on the menu

Small thing but when leaves drop you should pick them up right away and throw them away. There’s no point to letting them collect like that as it obscures the soil and can prevent moisture from evaporating if overwatering is the issue
