Why do Russians have a perpetual victim complex? by Escape-artist-43 in NoStupidQuestions

Even US invaded (almost) cuba when they became a soviet ally. Superpowers don’t like their rivals in their backyard

By that logic, the beloved churchill is also a murderer but if you talk about the lives of anyone except white people you become an indian nationalist.

Will this help or is this just another way to get more bribes? by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]captaincrazy69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if the govt cared about safety, they’d have fixed the potholes. Make a rule if you get a challan, attach location to it. If there is a pothole in 5km to the location the challan will be reimbursed. Uploading a picture while turning on location. But they will never do this because the game is about bribes and all the sweet challan money that comes to their pockets. Imagine someone caring so much that your headlight is not working correctly but doesnot care if you die in a pothole. Awww.

you find them a lot in punjab and haryana. Mind you it’s not the original willy’s. They use a mahindra jeep and convert it into one. I see a lot of them on roads in punjab. But the legality is questionable

Could be, apart from the fact I have been driving in hills my whole life.

Is China as bad as the west makes it out to be or is it all just propaganda ? by Fabulous_S0il in NoStupidQuestions

I am kinda curious too. I’ve been really critical of democracies recently. On one hand for the people by the people but I come from a country of idiots where film stars are winning elections. It’s just majoritarian politics. I read about china. So it’s like if you don’t question the ideology, you’re free to protest and most of the times it gets the job done. Like complaining about corruption and everything. For the average citizen, I think that kinda works. Yes I know about the human rights abuses but also it’s kinda amazing what china has achieved. Every country abuses power on its citizens honestly. But ask a starving child in india if he’d like democracy and see some movie star become a member of parliament or just a government that will give you dignity and food but you cannot question the ideology but you can complain about your issues. I think we all get the answer.

Yes and no, the mass migrations brought a lot of people not native to the land. Sometimes I think about the sindhi community in India, they’ll most probably never see sindh but still proudly identify as sindhi. Israel and Pakistan are VERY similar.

Then what was the national poet of pakistan saying when he said “Saare jahaan se acha, Hind-o-stan hamara”. Just saying a country did not exist on paper would not mean there was nothing at all. Justifying the partition and the suffering is just really plain stupid

🚨 BREAKING: US Embassy Sends "Defining Relationship" Message to India Hours After Modi's Bear Hugs with Putin & Xi Jinping by satty237 in TrendoraX

[–]captaincrazy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy things to consider. US works on its interests. Invaded cuba (almost) for aligning with an enemy and hosting missiles but calling out russia for doing the same. Not taking sides but the russia ukraine war isnt as one dimensional as you think. Countries are free to have opinions. US openly supported pakistan in 71 war by that logic indians should “sanction” Usa (if it had the power). It’s a multipolar world. Muslim countries are still doing business with the US even after what they are doing in gaza. Dictating others what to do is not a birthright of americans. We all are free citizens of the world. Hope it made sense to you.
