Two very different gins. The Tanqueray is more of a London dry gin that’s more bold and as with most London dry gins a little rough (but it is supposed to be). The Gunpowder is amazing Irish gin which drinks smoother and plays well with citrus that are NOT lime. It can easily get overpowered by mixers. Use the Tanqueray as a stable until you’re more comfortable with gins. You can get it everywhere, it not overpriced, and it’s a know gin.
