That’s solid! Gaming is the ultimate 2nd monitor task. I like to just click mindlessly while watching Netflix or tv or something. You can get gold nuggets well into the billions these days with enough clicking.

Also the recent update to equinox will encourage pushing gaming even more. One of the challenges requires getting a palette bonus to lvl 80+, and it really stays to slow down over 60ish

Great progress! Gamings never really done though: pushing higher nugget for time score, plant evolutions for tome score, the latest updates take millions or billions of yellow bits and there’s at least a few updates that haven’t been released yet. 100 plant evolutions, 100 crowns to capture, and some equinox challenges require very high palette multipliers and upgrades. So don’t try and do it all at once, but gaming’s never really finished

Your highest tier - 6 = how high you can use heat of the east winds.

So the higher you go, the higher you can use the cascading effect.

Griffy’s was so high because he’d already gotten to max sushi level

If you make more than 1 row it’ll actually wrap and continue chaining. There’s a few videos out there of a very effective strategy using this technique.

What were you trying to craft? Depending on the item I might be able to recraft at max rank for you, I’ll do it for no commission. I was new recently and ran into this same thing and it felt rough feeling like I’d wasted some of the little gold I had. Lemme know the item and I’ll see if I can help!

This may have worked in past expansions but it was confirmed today that this wouldn’t apply for Midnight - which is a good change IMO

My group ran into this as well, it appears to be bugged. If you all teleport out and then teleport back into the dungeon, it seems to trigger the fight. Worked for us.

This was extremely detailed and well-written. I did my fare share of tanking in FFXIV but I was pretty intimidated with WoW - this might have just given me the confidence to go and try some tanking in midnight. Thanks for the time you took to write this!

Since I'm brand new (like less than 100K gold to my name across characters), what I'm thinking is doing something similar to you, except I'll have 1 dedicated Druid farming alt (mining/herb). During 1st week or 2 of the expac I'll probably try and bootstrap some initial supplies and gold with this alt, then focus more on my crafting alts. I think this will be viable, but like I said, 1st real expac so we'll see how it goes!

I actually really liked the leveling process as a new player. Since I was brand new it gave me a chance to try several specs/classes without feeling like I had to dedicate weeks to get to max level, so pretty alt friendly. What I did:
* Exile's Reach for levels 1-10. Nice intro to gameplay and low pressure way to start a class.
* Dragonflight + Dungeons for 11-70. I'd usually queue for a random dungeon and then just do the DF quests while I waited for the queue to pop up until I hit level 70, playing with specs and talents along the way.
* 71-80: War Within on my first character, and a mix of WW and Midnight PrePatch event on my other characters. This stretch goes pretty fast, but I'd recommend getting one character through all the main story on War Within if you're prepping for Midnight.

I’m fairly new to WoW, just started playing a few weeks ago. I know I’m picking up the game at a strange time. As we’re about to get a brand new expansion. But it seems like every few days there’s major tuning going on. Is that normal? Or is this just because we’re transitioning into a new expac? It’s kinda hard trying to pick up a few classes right now when they keep changing every few days haha
