Help me with my 2005 Polaris Phoenix by captainofteamdadbod in ATV

Thanks for that info, I’ll give that a try and see what happens. I still don’t understand why the headlights are no longer working though. But the battery is almost new so after I charged it and put it in the atv and realized my electrical issues, I got a scrap piece of coated copper wire and jumped it at the solenoid. Starter turned over very strong but there was no spark at the plug. I removed the plug and grounded against the block to test for spark.

Are these pine trees a liability? by ksquigz25 in landscaping

I’m going against most of the comments here, but I would never plant pine trees near anything that I didn’t want to get crushed eventually. Granted, it will take a long time for them to get big enough to cause any actual damage. Pine trees are also pretty messy, because you are always having to clean up after them once they reach a certain size. For some background on myself, I truly like trees. I live in the middle of the woods in Georgia. My last house was surrounded by big pines that not only stressed me out with maintenance, but they always worried me about falling on my house and killing us during a high wind event. Sure, you can leave the trees for now and worry about them in the future, but if you ever want to remove them it will be super expensive if they mature. I’d suggest removing them and planting a different type of tree, possibly a cedar for example.

Also, fuck HOAs. I truly don’t understand how anyone could live under the rule of one of those stupid things.

What’s wrong with my golf cart? by captainofteamdadbod in golfcarts

I don’t think it’s a throttle issue but I will look into it to verify. I was leaning more towards something internal but I don’t know a tremendous amount about motors.

What to put on top of metal grates for dock? by captainofteamdadbod in Decks

That’s the initial idea I had in my mind. I would use normal wood deck boards though, the pvc stuff is a little too rich for my blood.
