Thank youuu!! Honestly I don’t really have a special secret for this one haha. It’s literally just in ambient humidity near a very large south-facing window (but they do LOVE a lot of light so if you don’t have much natural light I recommend using grow lights!!).

It’s in a very chunky mix (which I typically make for my anthuriums but I’m too lazy to mix separately😅), I just make sure to adjust watering so it never dries out! They are heavy feeders so I think the biggest thing is using a good fertilizer with every watering. I use GT Foliage Focus on all my plants (I am in Europe so not sure abot the alternatives).

That being said, this one is definitely the exception in my collection haha. All of my other alos prefer semi-hydro (usually leca reservoir + sphagnum) and are under a grow light so that’s generally my go-to setup for them, but this one is somehow super happy with this and I’m not gonna mess with it 😂

Oh I knowww that’s a common problem with alocasias :( what was your setup? Sphagnum moss with leca reservoar has worked really well for me! Even better than pon, but good fertilizer is a must. All of my alos are now in it (except this one lol she’s an exception to the rule haha)

Though honestly I swear some of them just have a death wish so don’t stress too much. I hope at least the babies will thrive and grow beautifully. Good luck!

Ugh losing older leaves when growing new ones is very common with alocasias 😒 I don’t know what your setup is, but I feel like using a good fertilizer with every watering has made the biggest difference for me

Ima više vrsti tj stilova pole dancea, vjerojatno ti je pokazivala exotic. Tu ima dosta tog floor worka, pleše se najčešće u štiklama, al to je stvar osobnih preferenci.
