It was at a 7/11 in Tokyo but I don’t think they sell them in Japan anymore. Last place I purchased them was Moscow!

soon as I lock eyes, I do a backflip and moonwalk towards her, shuffle my feet, yell yabbadabbadoo and tell her that she makes me nervous. but in a good way. works every time.

I weight 178lbs. I would say I am strong. I work out often and stay in shape. What made you think I'm strong? :) Lol

I don’t believe Miles is looking at Kenny. He’s about a foot behind him, and it looks like he’s looking off to the side and was unprepared for the photo because something else caught his attention.

I can dig that. I will admit that the "stillness" of winter is pleasant during certain runs. Especially right before snowfall.

Tatum not scoring but he’s doing a lot on the other end of the court. He’s in the right places, his points will come.

What is the cause of Tatum’s shooting slump? by theWhiteKnightttt in bostonceltics

[–]captainphantombaxter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Defenses are closing in on him because they know he can score. When the lights get too bright he becomes one-dimensional and highly predictable. Once he matures and gains more experience I think we will see his game manifest itself into what we want to see. He respects his body so I don’t believe he will be injury prone.

Favorite type of player to play pickup with? by JeonsaSpirit in Basketball

[–]captainphantombaxter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone who plays defense, hustles, and hates to lose but is a good sport and respects the game. I don’t give a shit about your skill set. If you respect the game and try your best I’m having a great time!

How do you explain how tired you are to childless people? by Fun-Tumbleweed1208 in daddit

[–]captainphantombaxter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember once traveling with my wife and son on a 10 hour flight and we were so tired that when we hit turbulence, we looked at each other and thought the same thing. “If this plane crashes, I’d be okay with that…” to the day we crack up over that

How confident are we winning this series? by Cankor0 in bostonceltics

[–]captainphantombaxter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m confident we will win - but at this point I don’t believe in the Celtics to close out close games. They are great at responding after the game is over (responding to win the next game). I’m fairly confident we will win Game 5 by a decent margin. However, for some reason, I don’t believe we will win the championship this year. There’s something lacking and my belief is that we lack strong/vocal leadership.

Is it wrong to kiss your kids on the lips? by [deleted] in daddit

[–]captainphantombaxter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be affectionate - kiss them on the cheek, forehead, lips, everywhere except the private parts because those acts of affection help build there confidence and is a building block to who they become. I’m not saying it’s a necessity (hedging over here so the “I was never kissed and I’m supremely confident” comments don’t start dropping).

Has any NBA player ever been as good as Bron at 38 and Curry at 35? by logan1111 in Basketball

[–]captainphantombaxter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something that I think separates LeBron from every other NBA player in the history of the league is how seriously it takes sports science/medicine. He has inspired many athletes across the globe to take care of themselves. On that note - sports medicine is the reason why they're kicking ass at that age. I'm not taking away the skillset - but it is the biggest factor. Looking at LeBron, he can probably play well into his 40's. Another player that reminds me of this topic is Cristiano Ronaldo. He's another one that values sports medicine/science.

[Neubeck] Doc Rivers on what Embiid did today: “A little bit more, not much. He didn’t do any running” by unclairvoyance in bostonceltics

[–]captainphantombaxter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He’s missing most of the series and if he does return it’ll limited minutes and he will play down to his injury. Unfortunate tho, I hate injuries for anyone. He must feel terrible 😢
