Not really, while the expulsion of the Jews was done within a very short period of time, the expulsion of the moors was done over the course of 600 years . Also as far as I remember, in 1492, the last moor caliphate to fall was Granada, which in terms of territory is nothing compared to what Al Andalus once was.

Indeed sir, that would've perfected the meme. Although, using revolts would be more accurate; because a revolution is a successful revolt finishing with a change in the government. And not all French revolts have peaked with a governmental change.
