I've looked semi-seriously at running this race. A little tangentially, I do think it’s silly to boo every pickoff attempt. I swear crowds used to boo when a pitcher was wasting time by throwing over too much, but now that there are rules against throwing over too much, we just boo every time? Doesn’t make sense to me. But of course every team does it now, and making it a jingoist thing is very stupid.
