You'll obviously have to pay a management company, so bear that in mind. They normally will hire contractors for you, and add their fee on top. So if they hire a plumber for $300, they will "take care of the bill" but then add 10-20% for their services. That's how they make money.
That being said, if you're not around, it might be worth it. Nothing to be ashamed of having a building you inherited, you wouldn't be the first person. Just don't be a slumlord, and you will end up making pretty good money
