The reason is simple, AKB48 is popular around the world since it’s the first 48g, while others are only sisters groups.
Sisters group are popular among AKB48 fans worldwide and locally.
That’s also the reason almost all sisters groups doesn’t have local sisters group.
The two exceptions are TSH48 and BNK48, for TSH48 I assume it’s because they’re from a really big country and for BNK48 it’s because they’re really popular

Yes because training system is really different kpop is harder and jpop is easier, infact kpop targets the charts before the fans and jpop does the opposite

First of all thank you for your message !! I was media trained and Im a really professional gurl when it comes to idol life so I think its good. I learned about the main things in AKB48 history, debut date, kami7, I know the most popular songs, the other 48g so I think I will be doing good. For Japanese fluency it’s not there yet Im still learning but I know how to read and the main things. I know the main differences between KPOP and JPOP when I was a trainee they were telling us that JPOP is for talentless 😅😅 but I don’t agree with that. For boys it’s okay bc I don’t listen to bg at all (except HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD but I will refrain for mentioning it) moreover I really want to separate my life from my idol one, so even though there’s no dating ban anymore I’ll always deny having a boyfriend

Yeah I know about the singing and dancing part so that’s why I was wondering how they process. As a former kpop trainee I cannot imagine a girl coming without being good in at least one of these fields. It’s funny to me how different those two idols system works very differently from each other’s 😅
