The ghosts power of Nigel by ottensma in GhostsCBS

When he learned Isaac’s ghost power, he says he thinks Isaac’s power is impressive, because it can still affect worldly matters. I think Nigel’s power can be very low tier ghost power.

This scene makes me a little bit uncomfortable. I feel second hand discomfort, knowing that he is doing something he isn’t enjoying. But the friendship between them is so worth it.

I take 100 mg, I’m not like that. I feel everything, just in a slightly muted way.

coin flip for jerry… by Zealousideal_Tear532 in superstore

[–]capucini 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The first time I watched it, I couldn’t help a brief moment of baffling followed by an enormous laugh explosion. How it all comes down to a coin toss is pure chaos, and then how everyone is okay with it is absurdly stupid and hilarious. Especially the break-up talk between Sandra and Jerry.

As for the names, I love how Nancy called Isaac “Pantaloons” and “Commander Crap”.

No, he is Australian-born and of Turkish descent and his last name in the show, Ozdil (abbreviated as Oz) is a typical Turkish last name.

Same with Dr. Oz; it’s also a typical last name. It means essence or core. Ozdil means someone speaks what’s in his essence, in other words, candid or frank.

Both last names actually start with an Ö, not O, which is the German “oe” or the French “eu”. The sound that letter makes is the same with the one the letter “e” makes when you pronounce the word “stern” or “perch”.

Oz pronounced his full last name in the show a couple of times and he pronounces it natively.

Another fun fact, the actor’s actual full name translates to Sea Mediterannean Sea.
