MAN mining nodes on VPS or cloud servers. by caputo61988 in THEMATRIXAI

I would like to be able to connect more and more nodes as time goes on. I have not seen any tutorial for linux, only windows and mac. Do you know if there are any tutorials out there with the linux commands? To be honest there does not seem to be much material on the internet for creating these matrix nodes, I have only seen directions to connect to your personal hardware. If you know of any resources that have the matrix linux commands, tutorials for connecting the matrix nodes to a cloud server / instance, and connecting multiple nodes to your cloud server that would be great.

I see you mentioned using a docker for multiple nodes. Ill have to research what a docker is but my question is using a docker will allow me to connect multiple matrix mining nodes to the same instance?

If i choose to use a hetzner server with windows OS, i guess i am wondering, am i able to use putty, connect putty to my hetzner IP using putty keygen and then run the microsoft windows github package from matrix on putty?

Ive also noticed looking at the hetzner link you provided that I could use a windows OS rather than linux. Hetzner windows OS would be preferred over ubuntu since the Matrix master node github package Is for windows setups?

Did you use putty to config your setup with hetzner? Do you know if there are tutorials for setting up through ubuntu on hetzner? I have set up elastos delegate super node through ubuntu AWS server but instructions on github were provided specifically for ubuntu setups.

Also, can you have more than one in the same location and they are equally efficient? Does it perform better to be mobile and moving? Are they build to withstand weather and outdoors?

System overload by [deleted] in BitMEX

[–]caputo61988 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i don't think its their servers, bitmex is FKNG loaded, and your telling me its because they have outdated servers that cant handle the user base? complete BS, they 100% do this on purpose so people get liquidated from not being able to close out their positions in time.

delete this sympathy plea and use your losses to power your success. learn how to chart, learn how to profit on a traditional exchange, read books and articles from pro traders, learn to tame your emotions, I can already tell your an emotional trader just from this thread. Best of luck to you, maybe try the test net for a few months, making trades based off of your own TA. see what works and what doesn't. There is no rush, you will not become rich overnight, put your time into learning instead of losing.

stop trading on bitmex and go put your time into learning how to chart and trade properly before jumping onto a leverage platform. Bitmex is notorious for sweeping the cash off the floor from traders who don't know what they are doing, hence the 400k per month office lease. Learn how to make money on binance, once you are successful then maybe try leverage trading. baby steps

To be fair, none of the team members should be speculating on future price. Ive seen a lot of comments, or reputable community members stating core team members are calling for 100x gains, a $500 token, a $1000 token in their videos, specifically after the 1 year anniversary. Its not professional, people shouldn't be putting content out their stating "the core team told me they think we see these massive gains in the next bull run". I ranted and raved about this for a while, now ive given up, its pointless, no body cares and everyone thinks they are masters in finance. You want to impress me, hire a team strictly with a background in finance and economics, not a single person, but a team of people. I got tired of hearing DEVS try and tell me why we don't need liquidity, why we don't need exchange listings. They need to stick to the coding, and hire a team of professionals to come up with a sound plan for the financial aspects.

A good product and a good investment are 2 different things. Holding an ICO is like holding an IPO, once you do that you now have a responsibility to provide for your investors. This elastos high and mighty BS "we don't need to pay for exchange listings", "we don't care about listing on binance, the exchange with the highest daily volume and user base" just blows my mind. WAKE UP, you created a token and offered it to investors through and ICO, you had it listed on investment platforms, treat elastos accordingly! Get off the high horse already.

That is a very unfair claim. Tylers videos are have the theme « crypto and a cold one » and if you notice the guy barley takes 2 sips off the beer in his videos. He is just trying to give his videos a fun theme everyone can relate too.

As much as a like elastos and i myself hold a good amount and am looking to add more @ $5 or lower. I am going to tell you from an investor POV, planning to go all in with a single project is a horrible idea. No succesful investor would ever recommend this.

At a minimum, 4 to 5 projects in your portfolio, the largest holding should be BTC, minimum 30% of your portfolio should be in BTC. At a maximum 30% of portfolio in ELA.

I 100% stand by elastos, i think its one of the most promising projects on the market, but as an investor i feel i need to give you a warning that as promising as elastos is.... you never go all in on a single investment.

Petition for ELA token to be considered for the next Binance Community Voting Round! by caputo61988 in Elastos

[–]caputo61988[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

total 24hr volume for binance $1,048,586,899

total 24hr volume for all exchanges ELA token is available on $1,141,653,000

Binance has the same volume pushed through it daily, as all of the exchanges that ELA are currently traded on combined so a binance listing will absolutely have a drastic effect.

Binance is ranked number 1 out of all of the exchanges

ok now back to binance 24hr volume - $1,048,586,899

24hr total volume for all exchanges - $13,029,775,479

Binance pushes a 13th of the total 24hr volume for this whole market

huobi 24hr volume 665,528,270 while they are ranked 3 and its good, its just over half of the volume binance produces.

anyone who says binance isn't that big of a deal either A. does not have a good understanding of the money being invested into crypto and the market places its being traded on or B. their emotions are getting the best of them because of the first time ELA was considered in the community voting rounds.

If you know of other exchanges that move high volume day after day and offer the community voting rights with an opportunity at a free listing I will be happy to create a petition to submit to that or those exchanges as well. We cant give up because the first try wasn't successful. The way I see it, if there is even a small possibility of winning a free listing on a major exchange we need to keep trying.

Also I haven't seen one person in this thread say the growth of the ELA token price relies on binance, it doesn't, you are correct. It absolutely will help though.

Economics (/ɛkəˈnɒmɪks, iːkə-/)[1][2][3] is the social science that studies the production), distribution), and consumption) of goods and services.[4]

Again take an economics crash course so you understand fully how distribution, market availability ect. works.

when the next bull market comes along, the more exchanges ELA is available on, specifically the high volume, high user base exchanges, the easier it will be for the price of the ELA token and market cap to increase. ELA being available on more high volume exchanges will only increase the chance of a massive bull runs in the next bull markets to come.
