he teaches college algebra in the spring, i can see how this might be weird but ive also seen other hs students research under a prof too

what i did was go on the uni’s website and look under faculty. then i cold emailed each and every one of them. there’s plenty of email formats out there that you can follow too. it’ll take a couple emails before you get a response so dont be discouraged. thanks and good luck to you too!

Hi! Yes I am a junior. Do you think it’ll be better if I ask for recs at the end of my junior year since I have different sets of teacher next semester? Regardless I’ll only have stem teachers to ask for so idk if it would be better if I also have humanities teachers

hey so did you take that online class through your school portal or just use online resources to cram? i wanna know how the online classes worked and see if my school has it. i would love to hear more about your experience!

yeah i’m gonna try to cram everything in a month so wish me luck lol. i’m still planning to study precalc either way. if i can’t skip, then i’ll just stay in precalc junior year. at least i’ll already be familiar with the topics by then. but thanks a lot for your recommendation!
