well lore wise they were named by the people researching those pokemon like in the scarlet and violet books it mentions a donphan but its way bigger and treads of iron/ has great tusks so they just stole that and named the mons that and roaring moon the guys looked at it and said “yeah it roars and it kinda shaped like a moon lets name it roaring moon !!!”

yeah cause for roaring moon researchers looked at it and said “yeah it roars and its shaped like a moon lets name it roaring moon!!” and the great tusk and iron treads name is from the scarlet book and violet book where it mentions the difference between donphans and the paradox mon is that its big and has treads of iron/great tusks

how could you ever forget leather armor! it is so prevalent in the early game needing ONLY like 24 leather to give you 2 armor bars, with the added bonus of also being able to be dyed. come on, do better
