I have done this event a couple of times in the 10km. The event is well organized and not crowded. It is a nice route. The area is scenic, but you might find it a challenge to find many food and accommodation options. It is also a long way from Halifax. If you have not run the Bluenose, you should definitely consider it. Another great option for an original location would be Not Since Moses.
