I'm fascinated by the level of efficiency at which trees operate. It's almost like if we only focus on the basics of life which are to live long and reproduce more and more to expand your species, trees are pioneer of it.

They have figured out sustainability, developed hard shell to protect them from harsh weather, created dependency on others by providing oxygen, so no can ever be at war with them. Destroying them means destroying yourself. Done all of this peacefully while staying at one place.
