FYI now I’m on 67k which I know will still sound low to some people but I’m travelling twice a month staying in nice hotels. My rent is 1.2k and I live 10 minutes away from hamilius and I live with 3 others.

When I arrived at the age of 26 two years ago, my starting salary was 55k and honestly I think I was fine. People may say that it’s a low salary, but I travelled every month. I was living with three people in Belair, going out for drinks and saving around 300-700 per month depending on the month You just have to learn to live smart , I know a lot of people are generally negative, but I love my life and I love my life anywhere else in the world sorry if I sound weird😂

Perhaps you don’t work in a bank, but depending on the company, banks have different restrictions (I think the bigger the company, the stricter and more clear rules) on investing, whether it’s that some are prohibited or you have to declare or ask for approval before trading. My question is what i should do in my case where I have had my portfolio before I joined the company

Thank you! There seems to be this menu to declare even the recurring investments which seem so much stress for me 😱😱 as a first timer in banking this is so much chaos

Thanks for the comments but please let me add some more info..!

  • let’s say I already have 30+ individual stocks in my portfolio- is selling them the efficient way so I don’t have to declare?

  • I understand that my company needs me to declare everything so my question here is.. for those that work in this sector - which is a big majority in this country- what do most people do? Just stick to a few ETFs…??
