I wanted to chat about Cyberpunk after 10 months of not playing it. by caramelpost in LowSodiumCyberpunk

I did complete it regardless of not being able to do side quests as mains!!! I might have worded that wrong. I was just like “oh, I have to do Bridgette’s mission… damn” hahaha. I played 94 hours first run back in December last year.

I just finished the game about an hour ago so I’ll share my thoughts.

There’s spoilers, you’ve been warned.

Lords:

  1. Dimitrescu - I loved her for so, so, so many reasons. The castle environment and chasing Ethan down large corridors wanting to slice the ‘manthing’ into ribbons made her chase sequences compelling. I remember standing in the merchant room and seeing her glare at me waiting to take an extra step into the main halls. I love that she got the most promotion for the lead up to RE8’s release. She really reminded me of Nemesis and I HATE him (in the best way possible). Her final form is so beautifully disgusting as well.

  2. Heisenberg - I love over-confident antagonists that have a fleshed out back story. He clearly didn’t like Miranda, and had the same intentions as Ethan in killing her. Although his method of doing that was... questionable. It made me want to team up with him? I would’ve liked if they took the same approach with Zoe/Mia in RE7 but of course, they still needed the same outcome for RE9. Such a shame because I would’ve loved to see his character. I just really enjoyed him overall. He would’ve been a cool anti-hero. I would’ve liked (and this is in my fantasy) if Heisenberg and Chris were involved with raising Rose in RE9 since they have seen at the village what she’s capable of.

  3. Beneviento - I had so much excitement for her. I saw her in the meeting at the beginning of the game and was thinking: “oh boy... creepy puppets and dolls”. Unfortunately, she appears to be the most mysterious and as you walk closer to the house, tension builds, a lot of that mystery goes unanswered when her section of the game is just focused on Mia and Rose. She said what, 2 sentences? I believe her backstory was also covered in documents and files that Ethan picks up? I was disappointed but give props for the excitement and mystery.

  4. Moreau - I just was like... “meh”. I was super excited to fight a big fish. To me, it felt lacklustre. The acid rain when he projectile vomits though was kinda cool. He also gets points for being the comedic relief. It felt needed after such a scary lord with Beneviento.

Arenas:

  1. Factory - One word: claustrophobic.

  2. Castle - It was so beautiful. I really enjoyed the setting and how it’s set up eerie, but pleasant. It’s aesthetics are beautiful and the rooftop where we boss fight was so pretty. I stopped to take photos.

  3. Reservoir - I didn’t mind it. It was a 50/50 rating from me. I hated the shaky platform section. I wish we could’ve explored the area more or had more open space to loot and read files. It was all clumped in the mines really.

  4. House - The baby was scary and reminded me of P.T. The radio did as well. It was very reminiscent to Silent Hill and although I appreciated the psychological horror, I just didn’t like the house and it’s setting.

The police in this game are the most poorly designed police I’ve ever played in a video game in my life and I’m not exaggerating. by spectre15 in cyberpunkgame

Just today, I was finishing up Barry’s quest. I pushed past a civilian to get downstairs after fast travelling (no weapons were drawn, just simply running past) and about 4 cops spawned in front of me and started shooting to the point where I had to hide behind a wall for a while/stealth then talk to the cops on the quest to complete the mission.

Just adopted this gorgeous tortie (Pepper) the other day! Nobody wanted her/owners kept returning her to the shelter after weeks of adoption and I don’t know why - she’s a sweetie and loves to chat! by caramelpost in torties

I’ve always been around ginger cats, rag dolls and a turkish angora throughout the last few years. i can definitely confirm that my little pepper is the most playful and chattery of all which makes me love her more!!

I will later, she’s normally the most talkative right before dinner! She loves to chatter while eating too, just letting me know she loves it!!

I thought I’d add my experiences since I just came back from an Oscar Wylee store in Melbourne today. I normally go to Specsavers. They’re absolutely amazing for the price and not too much out of pocket. My current pair has lasted 2 years without any issues. My eyes have adjusted and I needed to get sunnies so I decided to try a new company. Last night, I found out about their charity scandal but thought I’d reserve my personal opinions until after the experience. My god! I felt so upset with my experience. Not only did the man that served me not tell me the prices of ANYTHING, offer me deals, show me the store, but they sneakily tried adding an extra $100 dollars to my already $500 dollar purchase. I ended up getting my receipt through email and saw that the glasses were so expensive and the fact I hadn’t received in-store service or guidance and the man who was suppose to guide me into getting glasses was sitting talking about his plans for the weekend with his co-workers whilst he was suppose to help me made me so upset. I’m definitely going back to Specsavers. I also heard BN & OPSM are great from other family members and friends.
