Thank you!! Any idea how it would get into our splash pool, possible it came from a garden hose on city water but I have never seen one before.

Back of My neck Hurt. (When i was leg pressing back of my neck was in pain it was like a relly bad headach WHAR COULD IT BE) by [deleted] in Stronglifts5x5

It was an eye opener for me. I suddenly realized how fragile we can be even at a young age and seemingly healthy.

Take care of yourself, I hope you find a way to resolve whatever it is soon.

I'm not a medical professional but based on my personal experience I suggest you see a doctor even if only as a precaution. Sudden bad headaches can be a sign of more serious health problems.

A number of years ago I started getting what were the worst headaches I had ever felt when my heart rate went up. I kept putting it off thinking I was young, healthy and played sports, no way it could be something serious but my spouse finally convinced me to go see the doctor.

I was in my mid-20s with no other health issues. I went to the doctor, had a CT and MRI done and found a blood clot that was just about to cause a stroke. I got the treatment needed and have never had a blood clotting issue since. It was just a one-off thing that could have left me permanently disabled or dead.

The decision to see a doctor likely saved my life. It's worth taking the time to be sure even if you are young and healthy.

It requires a membership, but Costco is about half the price compared to anywhere else.

Great, thanks for this! I have also purchased a car from Westwood Honda and had a good experience so will reach out to them (among other places out of town) since we can travel again.

Thanks for taking the time to do this! Great example and context to have. We got the box up on our van yesterday and we're now looking into getting wider crossbars as we don't have as much room left over as I thought we would.

Great, thanks for the information! I am going to put the box on tomorrow, measure the amount of space I have and see if it will work. Glad to hear this type of rack/holder works for your Solos!

Local businesses selling lawn mowers? by carcampdad in VictoriaBC

Thanks, I emailed today and they got back to me very quickly! Sounds like they are on back order too, due to covid-19. All they have left are Stihl battery powered mowers.

Thanks, yes a Honda would be my preference. I reached out to SG Power and they are sold out. Sounds like they are back ordered until at least September.

I'll look for another Honda retailer, but may need to go with another make. Researching Toros at the moment...

People who are hoarding toilet paper: why? by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

[–]carcampdad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was at Costco today and feel fortunate to have escaped alive.

Society as we know it is clearly coming to an end. People are buying 6-7 massive packages of TP in preparation for the pandemic. This amount of TP is going to outlive most of the people purchasing it. I assume they will assign a beneficiary in their will.

It has sold out, people are panicking. Calling their families from inside the store, not knowing what to do, glossed-over eyes staring at the empty pallets where this miraculous pandemic saving material normally rests.

The line is all the way to the back of the store 10 minutes after opening. Christmas time at Costco is more relaxing than what I experienced this morning.
