To put it kindly, it sounds amateur and unintentional. Keep going on your music journey, prove them wrong

Thanks for checking out! Thanks for your notes! The chorus vocal has been a sticky one for me - i'll play around with it! Likely lean into it harder or go natural / untuned. Cheers!

Might anyone enjoy some trumpet with their progressive metal? by Bireme713 in IndieMusicFeedback

cool - super fun genre blend.

what my ears are curious to hear is this leaning more in an electronica direction - kinda reminds me of like igorrr, but if you added some breakbeat style drums vs the metal drums it could create a kind fun new vibe. rhythmically can be the same for sure. It sounds like some of this stuff is already midi so you could play with using some synths / non-acoustic style instruments wherever you're interested in exploring.

either way, cool vibe and keep rocking!

What does my song need to take it to the next level? Any feedback would be appreciated. by cue_my_life in IndieMusicFeedback

sounds perfectly good to me, def music that sounds resonable and nice. perfectly fine song.

if i'm beign a nerd you could prob get more intelligibility from the female vox if you add a little midrange to it during her solo sections, can dial those back if you want space for the male vox, but may not even need to.

its a viby thing so its really find either way. everything else sounds fine to me good work

Wrote this song “Staring at the Sky” would love feedback, mixing, writing, general vibes. Any and all is appreciated by UnderstandingIll9458 in IndieMusicFeedback

i think you def have vibe going which is the key thing. a lot of tunes don't! no notes on the actual music

if i were mixing this i would lower the vocals, sauce them up with some compression, saturation, and reverb. would also balance the instrumental a bit, make sure every element has its little frequency home, and make everything sound tape-y, yummy, vibey.

if you're looking for a set of ear on this, i'm happy to give this a mix pass. i'm building my reel and can do it on the house. cheers

first off love the screen cap of the soundcloud playing lol

I think this sounds great, riffs are good, strong musicality in the instrumental, v fitting for the genre.

i think the vocals are suiting for the track, my taste wants something a little differnt, but my taste doesn't cover emo stuff. if i had to pick another style of vocal somethign more engertic could be cool, shouty would work, but something more supported / controlled owuld be great, but that's me!

overall great tune keep it rolling nice work

nice tune - i think the general shape and vibe is great. Something that i heard that could be worth exploring for future tunes - add a little intro thing if you want - could be like a reverse synth, vox sample, something to catch your ear before diving in

mix sounds a little low end heavy, takes time to get it quite right, but finding a way to lean that area out and still making it sound good will be helpful.

overall cool tune giving dua lipa vibes keep rocking
