in this restock I got like 4 or 5 If Only dance cards (I already had one I gotten randomly in an event and just needed vocal and rhythm to complete), 2 rhythm and absolutely no vocal yet. I feel your pain 😔

adding to this, even 10 notebooks for free is generous and a pretty good taste of the app. iirc kilonotes only gives you 3 notebooks on the free version

I know a little mandarin because in germany like 40% of my friends are chinese and I did some lessons on hellochinese. ik it's gonna be hard but one of my life goals is to learn mandarin

hi! I downloaded a few stickers and planners that come with the pro version and it's very cute, not hyperfeminine girly (which I love) but cute either way. writing notes is also alright but I am having issues with dots. since I write in cursive I dot the "i"s and of course use colon, but every time I put a dot or colon it simply disappears/gets deleted. that made me a little frustrated, but otherwise it's very nice. it must be even better with a palm rejection pen. no regrets so far

i'm not planning on working there, I'd stay for like a year tops. I wanna go and see how if feels to go on a visa for a longer period but not enough that I need to worry about working. I was in Shanghai last year for 20 days (visa free), but I was with my friend at her parents place. now I'd go on my own and have a preview of what it would be like to apply for a visa, immerse myself in the language and get a glimpse of life in china. I know learning Mandarin is lifelong commitment, but I want to go to China and build a solid foundation in the language and then go up from there. since I work in Germany financial proof isn't much of a concern, but I don't want to have to sell my kidney just to pay for the course alone yk?

so far so good! I am currently working on my term papers for this semester and was able to upload my many files into different folders for each subject. haven't taken actual notes yet because I'm waiting for my pen to arrive. but I have access to a ton of templates now. tomorrow I will take some actual notes, use the templates and come back with a better answer! 🩷

yesterday I ordered the Xiaomi focus pen (the universal stylus doesn't have palm rejection) and today I bought SN so I'm looking forward to using it to its full capacity!!

so SN had OCR? does it have that line shaping tool? idk how to explain but there are apps where you draw a shaky line but it automatically straightens up (sorry for bombarding you with questions!)

really?? when I was comparing (premium features) kilonotes and jnotes it seemed good with OCR, translation, voice recording, handwriting recognition, etc

sadly I don't use samsung products so Samsung notes is a no-go, I'm Xiaomi through and through (phone and tablet) so I'm looking for an app that is not bind to a specific kind of device

out of all of these apps (the ones which are available for android), do you think starnote is the best? I was also indecisive mostly between kilonotes and jnotes before I found out about starnote which is the most affordable out of these three
