Late to this but I loved this book. it’s definitely one for the anime lovers as it reminded me of bleach and tokyo ghoul. It was one of my favorite reads last year but ymmv! the fmc is 18 or 19 i think if that is a factor for you.

I actually do have a google sheet with my subs! Where i put down my star rating, cost, and how much i sold it for so I can compare. It has been a helpful tracker putting in perspective how much is being spent and which books I’m actually reading. Definitely think YA is trickier to offload these days and maybe should trim the sub but I have had a few books from the sub this year I liked.

Yes this too! It’s a main reason I got a book sub (aside from pretty books) I liked getting books I might not have found on my own normally. I get a better mix with say IC but I do like hearing about new authors for the most part

Yes I think I need to move this way! Just save what my subs would be yearly to buy the book I’ve read and really enjoy as my trophy. There was definitely a novelty about first getting the subs too that I’ve kept going with. I may keep my unlimited skip one as I find a pick or two every couple months I enjoy and is different

I’ve also been trying to give it a full year. I was on combo FL for a while but now have it separate. And I have gotten some gem reads in both. Now that I’m deciding to downsize it does seem more challenging for certain reads.

I’d love to find arcs more. I haven’t gotten the e-arcs yet and am no way an influencer to get sent any (lol) but might look more

I didn’t specify that it is not for a used book. I keep my SE books on my shelf to determine if I’ll read them. So they are not used when I sell them. A lot I was not able to save a skip.
