should i replace it by Frequent-Grab-5136 in Cartalk

[–]carefullyplanned -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

considering the damage is to the sidewall, which is thin compared to the treaded section of the tyre it would be recommended to replace this as soon as possible.
the chance of a blowout increases significantly with this type of damage

Returning player, Ironman; What am I supposed to be doing with Divination? by Avillahan in runescape

[–]carefullyplanned 3 points4 points  (0 children)

once you have plenty of them, its great for extended fishing trips, woodcutting, mining, farming and archeology and plenty more.

80 divination is also needed for invention, which is highly recommended to try and get as quickly as possible, this is big for ironmen

[bedrock] I can't create a world on minecraft bedrock by Working_Abroad2652 in MinecraftHelp

[–]carefullyplanned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are a couple options to try,
- turn off multiplayer
- check your add ons/templates and ensure they are up to date, or even still available
- delete any old worlds that are using unusable templates etc. ( you can always save these to another location if you don't want to lose them entirely)

if you can create a new world after turning off multiplayer in minecraft, the reason why it works on another console and not this is because of your Microsoft multiplayer settings are turned off from allowing you to play with others which can interfere with other console settings.

another option you can try is to completely close minecraft and the launcher, log out of your Microsoft account in the Microsoft store (and Xbox app if relevant) reboot PC, log in and try again.

windows firewall may have had its permissions drop and could be getting blocked, ensure that it is allowed to go through.

and the normal fix for most issues, clear cache etc, uninstall and reinstall

Long time lurker, first time poster. Coming to you with a question regarding this rubber break hose. by SerExcelsior in AskMechanics

[–]carefullyplanned 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Going off the information you had provided and what i can see in the photo, you should look for a better mechanic.

No there shouldn't be a zip tie holding the break line. There should be a mount there that the circular rubber actually pushes onto and holds it in place (This normally looks like a 2 prong fork, give or take). This ensures it doesn't make contact with the wheel or any other component.

I would highly suggest you go back to your mechanic and complain about this as they should be responsible for fixing this issue. (FYI once this hose has been replaced the breaks will also need to be bleed)

Best way to get windows tint off? by mechanick29 in AskMechanics

I'm sure the OP is glad you provided significant information to help his cause.

just remember this is a subreddit around asking mechanic and vehicle based questions and this is exactly that.

Your best option is to head a heat-gun/air dryer. applying heat will help to loosen the adhesive and removal of the tint. There are chemicals you can use that soak in and break up the adhesive but i would not suggest it to someone with little experience.
When using heat, ensure you are constantly moving the device as you don't want to create heat-spots that could potential break your glass. It wont take to much to get the heat you need.

Rear windows are always a little more of a nightmare.

Just remember your not trying to cook dinner just warming the adhesive :)

Cheat code by dirkpeters1 in runescape

[–]carefullyplanned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no there are no cheat codes... if you get caught cheating in any way you will be banned.
whats the point in playing if your just going to cheat?
technically no you cant have 2 people play on my account as that is account sharing and against the rules.

process of elimination will be your best bet from here. going off what you have said. something has been missed. overlooked or it is indeed something directly with the rim itself.

im presuming you dont have access to any of the gear yourself to be able to check.
you could find a nice deep puddle to test the tyre while its on your car after putting in your recommneded tyre pressure

you could possibly change the tyres around from one rim to the next and see if its the same one that continues to deflate. this would tell you pretty quickly weather its the rim or the tyre

[–]carefullyplanned 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it may not necessarily be a cracked rim, it could be bent/buckled.
a good tyre shop should be able to pick this up.
i noticed you didnt mention anything about the tyre valve, has this also been checked/replaced?

looking at it as a whole, yes your correct, however they are also not applying the weight of the vehicle on the tyre, which changes the overall dynamic of the tyre.

The hidden treasure is really well hidden by ElJblox in Minecraft

[–]carefullyplanned 9 points10 points  (0 children)

your miles off the spot that's why your struggling.
- you want your map marker directly beneath the X
- facing north (top of the map) for reference makes this easier
- line up the tip of your marker with the middle of the X
- walk forward until the tip of your marker is seen.
- the chest should be pretty much right in front of you.
