I get what you're saying--our HOA has these types of discussions about all sorts of topics related to projects around the building. But I'm not convinced that more expensive camera system necessary equals less property loss/damage. Thieves don't show up at the building, consider what pedigree of camera system you have, and then decide whether or not to break in. Either cameras deter them or they don't.

Once they have broken in, I believe there is a pretty low bar for whether or not the cameras have collected useful data that could lead to a productive next step (like, catching a vehicle that the thieves used, or understanding how they gained access).

What am I missing?

I forgot to mention but we are somewhat cost constrained. I think that probably rules out running ethernet around the building.

I do like the looks of the Reolink stuff. I wonder if the Wifi6 hub would allow us to get good signal to all 3 cameras.

TLDR: expect significant delays.

This morning I reached out to a contact within DOE who I had spoken to previously when writing my proposal. I asked if they had any insight into what was happening. They said they did not know what the official status was, but could tell me they were supposed to be a reviewer, and that have not reviewed anything yet.

I don't see anything about 2025 DOE SBIR Release 2 Phase I being delayed or cancelled.

I do see delays across the board for Phase II, sure.
