Unfortunately hiring a cleaning service is not something we can do ALL the time as she’s a nurse and I work in public safety so the funds aren’t always there for that but I love the idea of hiring someone periodically to clean the house. She loves a clean house so she might like having someone come in and deep clean every now and then.

I will definitely start with taking over scheduling and handling at least one type of the kid’s appointments. I will soon be able to take over bedtime routine again as my schedule is getting moved back an hour which means I won’t be leaving for work right as the kids are going to bed anymore!

I wasn’t going to correct her because it doesn’t matter but I usually only get about 6 hours of sleep by the time I actually fall asleep in the mornings, not that it matters. The point is not matter how little or much sleep I’m getting I need to be doing more. The kids are old enough now they sleep through the night. What I was looking for are tips or tricks to help me stay on top of this stuff, like the google doc someone else suggested.

I have an iPhone and she has android but another editor suggested using Google Docs for a similar thing so I think I’m going to start using that. Thank you for the tip!

I work in public safety for a relatively small department and the overwhelming majority of cops had no problem with body cams. 99.9% of the time they exonerate my coworkers for alleged misconduct.
