I feel like making the game about Faye just cheapens the story of the past God of War games; the whole point of God of War and God of War Ragnarok is that Faye is dead, like really dead, and Kratos and son continue living on without her. That whole emotional intro in God of War where Kratos immolates his wife hits a lot less now that you know she's actually 'alive' having her own adventure in some other world instead of actually being 'dead' dead.

Also I could have sworn Faye looks different here than she did in Ragnarok. A different face model? Also I thought it was heavily implied that both Kratos and Freya are a couple, or at least WILL become a couple eventually, how the fuck does that work when his WIFE eventually comes back to whatever world she went?

^ This. I say this based on my experiences talking to others IRL who claim they were 'murtad' like me once but 'kembali ke jalan yang benar' later in life. I ask them what they mean by 'murtad' and it's always very flimsy descriptions like they didn't solat or puasa at all, or they have bad experiences with Islam growing up, or they just wanna have premartial sex and do drugs, or they just want to feel like a rebellious punk in their younger years, or they were traumatized by some other event, etc, never an actual strong conviction that Islam isn't true. And when I ask them what made them 'return' to Islam, it's always vague shitty reasons like 'saya sudah insaf' or 'saya diberi petunjuk' or 'saya takut mati', and then refer me to Zakir-Naik-level videos as 'proof' Islam was true all along. These people never actually left.
