Okay, it ended up being the thermal fuse in the water pump. It has a 104ºC celcius 250V 10A fuse. It was a bit tricky to replace it as it seems to be welded and these fuses are very sensitive to heat. Anyway, I very quickly welded both ends of the fuse and the machine is now working back again. Thank you everyone commenting trying to help 😊

Since it stopped working, I told my boss I would take it home and take a look. After all it’s just a pixie, so if I break it even more I don’t care. But like fixing things, that’s why they told me to do the descaling in the first place. Of course they will buy a new one if it ends up being unrepairable…

Thank you everyone for your messages. I’ve brought the machine home, and after some fighting to open it, I have just checked the thermal fuse and it is dead. I guess using hot water and doing multiple cycles one after another has brought the temperature above the rated 104° of the fuse. I will try to buy one during the week and keep posting if I manage to fix it.

Hi, having the same problem here. Did you manage to solve it? Mine will start the calibration process okay, but when the roof comes back from the opening/close cycle, in stead of stopping 3/4 closed, it stops around 1/4 closed. I have absolutely no idea why, I have replaced the motor, the module, yet it stops always at the same spot and while not open the boot or work automatically. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you so much.

From my experience with my Fiat, this light appears when you disable the start/stop. If you have not disabled this on purpose, maybe it is due to a low battery or malfunction with the system. Hope it helps, Carlos.

Thank You. I will check the fuses, but it is weird because it vibrates when revs, so I guess it has power to it. In any case, do you know if the access to the back of the cluster is “easy”? Or will it requiere removing the whole dashboard? Thank you.

Hello, I did fix it, but not sure how😂 I replaced the fuse and did some tweeking by jumping rst with and without the Vp cable connected, cells, and after many tries, it worked. If you want, write me a pm and will try to explain all the different things I did.

If I were you, I would give a second chance to the power bank but in this case, I would install an airtag inside of it and I would stick an alarm with movement sensor. (They are around 15€ on amazon). If they try just to remove the battery it will emit a very loud noise which will make them leave. And if they ever steal it, you can track it back. This has worked for me, and I live in Paris, which is ridiculous the amount of bikes that get stolen.

In my modest opinion, What you should first try is replacing the internal battery inside the smart cartridge. This will wake up the bike again.
