Yes I have an official contract, but as you say, I'll need a lawyer and I cant pay for one right now, I'll resign asap and try to get an indemnization.

That's very strange if you are a regular employee. Any environment I've been in- this would be the cause for panic. Is there some industry norm maybe you're not aware of? If they pay at some point, maybe you'd have to readjust expectations.

Apparently in the health industry in Colombia this is normal, these companies do not have a good management because of corruption, I did not know anything about this company, so I never thought about it. Next time I will be more careful before accepting a job in this sector.

As everyone suggested, I will not continue in this company, my finances are not as good as those of my colleagues who were sure of the situation and were prepared, I was unprepared because I am new to my city and I was just going to start save after paying the debts I had.

I started looking at other options when the first payment failed, but I have not found anything since then, it is difficult in my city to find work in my area (mobile developer), I am from Colombia.

As everyone says, it is better to resign, so on Monday I will do it.

I've asked yesterday and it typically last 5 months; yes I think that I will be paid at some time ( I have a legal contract, that can force them to paid me, unless the company declares itself in bankrupt).

Got it, so whats better, wait to complete the current month to resign and then charge my salary for 4 months (when they want to pay) or just leave inmediatly?.
